Camping du Chateau de Poinsouze Limousin

Located close to a medieval village and set within the grounds of a 15th century chateau, Camping du Chateau de Poinsouze has lots of services to offer including sports equipment rental, baby facilities, motorhome service area, WiFi internet access, a shop that opens upon request, a takeaway that is open seven days a week and a lovely traditional restaurant with an authentic atmosphere housed in one of the old outbuildings, which is open four day a week in the evenings.

The pitches are spacious and not only can this French campsite accommodate, tents, caravans and motorhomes, but also large rigs and RV’s, especially with the Premium pitches, where three of these are 210m squared on a flat part of the camping ground that even include garden furniture, a BBQ, fridge and one hour of free WiFi per day, plus there are an additional three Premium pitches overlooking the lake that are more than 240m squared and come with the same benefits.

For added comfort, you can choose the electricity supply amount plus the pitches come with water connection and drainage, yet some are totally fully serviced including a sewage connection, but if you do not have your own touring van, then you could still enjoy this lovely campsite in France by staying in one of the chalets or mobile homes, however, we would like to point out that pets are not allowed in the rental accommodation and are not allowed on site during high season.

Now when it comes to activities, you will not be disappointed as this is a great place for a family camping holiday in France as there is a multi-sports court for badminton, basketball, etc, table tennis, swimming pool and childrens pool, plus there is the lake where you could enjoy a relaxing time fishing, or maybe water sports such as canoeing and windsurfing are more to your liking, yet do not worry if you do not have your own equipment and these can also be rented.
In high season there are also additional activities such as a bouncy castle, kids club and organised evening entertainment to keep every member of the family occupied and that is if you do not want to go off the campsite for a round of golf, horse riding or visiting one of the many local attractions.
