Being situated in the
Poitou-Charentes region only a short drive to Futuroscope, Camping les Peupliers is in an
ideal location for a family camping holiday in France and even though the campsite is only
open part of the year, they also have chalets to rent all year round.
This French campsite with fishing in the private lake or in the river running along side
where they also have pitches available, is tranquil and peaceful, yet has some excellent
activities to keep everyone amused such as mini golf, a games room and table tennis plus a
bar, restaurant and takeaway with a lovely covered terrace, along with a Kids club and
organised entertainment in high season.
But what makes this campsite in France so special is the fabulous swimming pool complex,
which not only has an outdoor heated swimming pool and paddling pool, but also Jacuzzi's
and different water slides, one being around 80 metres long! Yet, being open until
late, in fact you can go for a dip after dark, and the pool really looks beautiful when it
is all lit up, so if you really want a fun packed family camping holiday, then this has
got to be on your list of French campsites to stay at.

Usual Opening Times: For touring pitches Les Peupliers is open from 2nd May through to
30th September, but for renting a chalet, this campsite is open all year.
Rates: Based on two people with a car and caravan.
From €26.50 plus extras such as additional people, electric, etc but there are
discounts available for out of season prices, yet you would have to contact the campsite
for these as they are worked out individually upon your requirements.
