The French campsite, Camping Les
Baleines, is situated on the island called Ile de Re in the Poitou-Charentes region and is
an ideal base for those of you that want a family camping holiday in France which will
focus on activities such as water sports, sailing, the beach, fishing and cycling along

This campsite in France has good facilities including three sanitary blocks with dedicated
baby areas and disabled access along with a shop, launderette, fresh bread service,
takeaway, BBQ areas and a restaurant come grill room where you can even get a breakfast.
But instead of going off the campsite all the time, you can also enjoy activities on site
like volleyball, table tennis and the 18 hole crazy golf course, plus there is organised
entertainment and a Kids club in high season, along with a TV room and WiFi internet
access so that you can keep in touch with family back home.
