Camping du Bois Vert is located
on the banks of the River Thouet within walking distance of the historical town of
Parthenay with its castle and ramparts, old buildings, the gourmet markets and
restaurants, on site they have 90 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes along with
mobile homes to rent including one specifically designed for the disabled in mind.
This French campsite has some fantastic services that include WiFi internet access, a
motorhome service area, not just cycle hire but also car hire available for those that do
not have their own transport to venture further a-field, fridge and BBQ rental and a fresh
bread service plus from the start of May through to the end of September there is a bar,
restaurant and a takeaway that you can enjoy to make your family camping holiday in France
even more relaxing.
Activities on site include table tennis, volleyball, a swimming pool, kids club and
organised theme evenings during high season, but within only around 200m from this
campsite in France there is a fishing lake or you could enjoy the zip line, aquatic
leisure centre or canoeing and kayaking on the River Thouet, yet alone if you decide to go
further a-field, as there are numerous places to visit from theme parks through to
historical sites, museums, an aquarium and much more.
