Part of the Castel chain of
French campsites, Camping du Val de Bonnal is located on an old watermill estate by a
river and has many lakes, so there is a real emphasis on water activities, yet with
tranquillity and nature being key factors.
There are large pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes and some of them are around
200m squared, so even large RV's and outfits are not a problem, plus you can choose to
have a pitch by the river or a premium pitch where you are provided with a fridge, BBQ,
outdoor seating and WiFi internet access.
There is a fantastic swimming pool complex on this campsite in France with several water
slides, a paddling pool and bridges that go over, which makes it feel like lots of
different pools, plus it is heated for added comfort. You can also do a spot of
fishing in one of the lakes or the river, go canoeing, still keep in trim at the gym or
enjoy the games room with things like billiards.
As well as a bar, snack bar and takeaway, there is a restaurant that is open every
evening, so you can spend some time relaxing along with catching up with what is happening
in your home country with one of the international newspapers that are available during
July and August.
