La Foret du Morvan Campsite In Burgundy

La Foret du Morvan is a French campsite in Burgundy on a former farm that has around 7 acres of forest and 16 acres of pasture, so it is a very rural and tranquil campsite, yet south facing and on a hill, it also benefits from the sun.

There are pitches for tents plus some pitches for caravans, although this campsite in France will not accept caravans that are over 6m in length due to the fact that it is a very steep entrance driveway and there is also no means of emptying chemical toilets, but they do have great facilities on site including some private sanitary facilities available to campers.

This site is suitable for a family camping holiday in France with activities like a spring-fed lake for swimming, a childrens playground and a games room with billiards, table tennis, etc, but is also a peaceful site ideally located for exploring the surrounding area from museums, vineyards and an archaeological site through to horse riding, mountain biking and water sports.
