Camping du Port d'Arciat has a
total of 160 pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents that are spread over an area of 5
hectares with some fabulous pitches located along the banks of the river Saone, which also
means that this is one of the French
campsites with fishing available.
With a motorhome service area and good access even for large
rigs and RVs this is ideal for a stopover yet is also a lovely site for a family camping holiday, but we would like to point
out that there is an additional charge for twin axle vans, however, as a camper you do get
free access to the leisure lake and complex.
The leisure lake complex has a beach and a dedicated swimming area which is manned by
lifeguards in high season, plus there are water slides and a pontoon in the middle for
added fun, yet when you feel a bit peckish you could also enjoy the restaurant that is
located on the bank of the river Saone, which also provides snacks, takeaways and even
packed lunches that you could take to the picnic area, plus there is volleyball, boules
table tennis and even organised evening entertainment such as parties during the high
season on this campsite
in France as well, so you will never be without something to occupy you.
