Chateau de la Rolandiere Campsite Centre

The Chateau de la Rolandiere is a family run French campsite in the Centre region of France close to many tourist attractions such as the many fabulous chateaux and museums that are synonymous with this area.
Chateau de la Rolandiere
Having only been open as a campsite since 2002, you can tell that this site is very well looked after and you will be provided the same respect as the entire estate, plus with very friendly helpful owners who speak English, you can be assured of a very pleasant and peaceful stay that will never feel overcrowded as it only has approximately 50 touring pitches available.

The different pitches available offer shade through the beautiful trees or not as per your wishes, but they are suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes.  In fact, even large outfits and big are RVs will be able to come to this campsite in France without a problem, although we think they could have fun passing each other on the very long drive if that arose!

Yes, we mentioned a very long, yet impressive drive that is line by trees, which is before you get to the front gates and see the beautiful chateau,  but only a very short drive off the main road you will not be able to miss it and of course being behind gates is a secure site even for your young children.
This family campsite in France has activities on offer such as an outdoor swimming pool with childrens pool, table tennis and an 18 hole mini golf course, or as we know it, a crazy golf course.

For those days when the weather is not so good, a pool table and more is available along with a bar, plus apparently it has a fitness room but this is something we never got to see in our short stay.

However, if you do not have your own caravan or motorhome, then you can always rent the first floor gite or the cottage that’s available, which can accommodate up to five or six people, plus they also have B&B available with rooms located within the chateau itself.

This is also an ideal venue for holding parties, receptions, weddings, etc and they have two lovely reception rooms available for hire that are full of character with their exposed beams, and when we were there we were very privileged to see their Daughter’s own wedding.  And what better setting!

But the surroundings are just as impressive with the heritage and the amount of different chateaux and museums, plus the hiking and walking paths and much more such as golf, tennis, water skiing, fishing, etc, that could keep you occupied whilst on your family camping holiday in France.
