Camping les Saules is a family
run French campsite that is spread over an area of 8 hectares on a landscaped park that
has two lakes and is located right next to the Chateau Cheverny and its prestigious 18
hole golf course.
However, for those of you that are not into playing a true round of golf, then you could
always opt for some family fun with the crazy golf or enjoy the heated swimming pool and
childrens pool along with table tennis and a games room.
There is also a bar that serves food and during high season, plus there is a restaurant as
well that serves traditional French cuisine, and starting from this campsite in France
there are numerous cycle paths, with over 300km dotted over the region. Yet there
are also other activities on offer such as horse riding with the local stables along with
hot air balloon rides for a completely different perspective on the area, that both depart
from the campsite each week, which can make this a rather unusual and different type of
family camping holiday activity.
