Camping les Ilots de St Val is
one of the campsites in France that is open all year and is located in the Centre region
approximately 60km from the capital city of Paris and around 20 kilometres from the
historical town of Chartres, it is in an ideal location for exploring the area.
Situated in the countryside above the river Eure, this is a French campsite with fishing
for trout and course fishing with direct access from the campsite to a private stretch of
the river, but there are also lots other facilities and activities on offer including
tennis, volleyball and an indoor play area, so this will make a great place to stay for a
family camping holiday in France.
You will also find that there are numerous activities on offer in the local area such as
golf, pony trekking, climbing and much more, plus you can visit some great places like the
chateau and viaduct, historical monuments and traditional markets in the surrounding towns
and villages.
